Shoe Spotlight! 2

Today I decided to spotlight two shoes.. because well I CAN!

The first shoe is by Steve Madden. These are literally my go to shoes. Nude is perfect for every season and they help make your legs look Marisa Miller long!

I have had these shoes for YEARS and I LOVE LOVE Them!


The second shoe surprised me as well. (by Halogen) If you really know me you know im not one to wear flats. my philosophy is the higher the better ;) but I got these shoes two weeks ago and im really liking them. I feel like a girly girl so i wear them with my little sun dresses... I LOVE the bow. Look how cute they are!

These are also in nude which again can go with ANYTHING!

These shoes are staples every girl needs a good nude shoe.

A little side note I got dragged to see Spider Man last night and me personally did not like the first three. Never was a fan so I really didn't want to go to see the movie at midnight and im getting old and sleep threw anything playing past 10. So i was yelling at my cousin Thomas for coming to my apartment and taking me to this movie. But I have to admit I was WRONG! It was quite entertaining and I stayed up! But I have been a fan of Andrew since Social Network and he did very well in this film plus EMMA STONE is in it... Love her! So if you are seeing a movie that is NOT Magic Mike (xoxo) GO SEE SPIDER MAN!

You Da HO!

This weekend I went on another adventure up to Boise Idaho. Every time I think im going up there I just laugh... really Boise? But as I drive towards Eagle I get secretly excited :) Its so pretty plus some of my favorite cousins are there! Troy and Shawnel plus Steve and Makita. I love my aunts and Uncles!!! and their AMAZING Kids... the drive up there, I cant lie ... SUCKS! but I had some really cool people with me! Ra Ra (Marisa) and CJ. They sure kept me entertained as we drove threw the treacherous roads of Idaho.  We got there just in time for Jaxons baptism and 17 out of 18 of us grandchildren/cousins where there! (Brandon had more important things to do ;) I cant belive how much everyone has grown up. Brock is driving! SOO Crazy. The baptism was awesome. So proud of Jaxon and Troy and Shawnel for being such awesome parents. After the baptism we went to this park and Troy got a BOUNCY HOUSE!! greatest thing ever! yes im 8 as well... It was so much fun being with my family up in Idaho. I was sad I had to say good bye to Marisa. She spent the week with me here in Utah. I LOVE THAT NUGGET. The way down was so fun CJ and I had a big dance party with all my old CDs I made starting my JR year of high school called "Car Jams" priceless stuff right there, Always a good time when car jams are involved.

Happy to be back and working ... Only one more month till i leave for Ukraine.. HOLY COW! Its happening

These shoes are AMAZING!! They are perfect for the spring and now i guess summer! The bold colors are great for color blocking and surprisingly can go with a lot of things! I love to wear them with my orange maxi skirt and a plain white T shirt. Or if you want them the center of attention just a go for low key clothing then BOOM these hott thangs! These shoes deserve Alexa's first Shoe Spotlight!

Summer Lovin'

Thought I would give a quick look at what has been going on in my little life!! Other than working I have had some little adventures that keep my life nice and SPICY!!

The trip that started off summer was a FAST and when i say fast i mean fast trip down to Moab to watch the eclipse. We started driving down there at 1pm watched the eclipse and came back :) It was so fun no matter how long it was. Thanks to Chad I learned a lot about Utah's landscape and some landslides that destroyed little towns. The boys I went down with are pretty much the GREATEST! I love all of them.. thanks Alex, Alex, Chad & CJ for being amazing as always!!

Then the day came my cousin Thomas graduated high school! He is so old now! I got to sit next to some cute little Nuggets ;)

My GORGEOUS sister got to go to her SR!!! Prom!! Can you believe it?? Marisa graduates in a two weeks! so crazy im getting old

Colors of the Season

I have never thought as myself as a "Girly Girl" yes I am overly obsessed with Shoes and Makeup and my true love is dancing. But other than that id rather be playing basketball or watching football. Lately i have been infatuated with pastel colors that have been happening this spring season in fashion! I mean how can you NOT fall in love with the lively combinations, just looking at them puts me in a better mood. I even dyed my hair PINK to have this uplifting feeling everyday! Hope you all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY! Lets do something UNEXPECTED!

2012 Summer Bucket List

 Its funny how when you are young you cant wait to grow up! I remember thinking how much easier life is going to be when I "grew up". I didn't have to worry about a curfew, I didn't have to call my parents when i changed locations and I was pretty excited to just be in charge of me! BOY was i WRONG! I do not like being a grown up! Im sitting in my office at work looking out to the beautiful blue sky and thinking no one told me summer time ended as well when I grew up.

Im working two jobs and ive been blessed to find these jobs, but really I think we should have summer break in work as well :) How awesome would that be?!

so now that im over ranting about how i am having a case of Peter Pan Syndrome i thought i would make a SUMMER BUCKET LIST!
